Licensed Master's level Psychologist

Whether you’re an individual or couple - my therapy sessions are designed to bring you closer to what matters most to you while providing a safe space to land throughout your journey. My therapeutic style consists of bringing warmth and  understanding with a mix of realness and humor.

I am a double alum of North Carolina Central University and graduated with a Master's in Clinical Psychology in 2013.

My specialties include body image and eating disorders among people of color, anxiety and coping with life transitions particularly those affecting the Gen Z and Millennial demographic. I have experience with working at an eating disorder treatment facility for several years where I provided individual and family therapy as well as facilitated Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), body image, self-care and media awareness groups for patients.

I utilize a strengths-based, solution-focused approach through a multicultural framework while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT)  informed techniques. I am passionate about promoting the Health at Every Size perspective towards self-acceptance and body appreciation for all body sizes.

My favorite things to do include laughing at the latest funny GIFs and memes, hanging out with family and friends, taking time out for a manicure and traveling.
